The Grammar Vigilante

The Grammar Vigilante put various shop-keeper errors to rights with his after-hours corrective raids earlier in 2017. His stealth alterations of error-strewn shop lettering captured the imagination of apostrophe-sticklers across Britain. While we can’t really condone tweaking signs on private property, we’re with The Grammar Vigilante in principle. And we can only admire a man so infuriated by badly-written signs that he takes to the streets in the early hours with a ladder and a few pens to sort it out.
