James O’Brien continues to be a fair and straightforward defender of facts over spin, presiding over his weekday LBC talkshow with wry passion. He’s a champion of the little man and lays out the tricky issues of the day with simple clarity. There are now so many clashing media voices we need those with no vested interest in falsity or a specific agenda. Without commentators like James, the issues of the day would be that much harder to understand.
