Ros Atkins and his team at the BBC produced numerous ‘explainer’ features in 2021, condensing and simplifying often baffling subjects into an accessible format. For those of us without much spare time, or who prefer a good, quick summary of a long-running or complex story, the condensed news features were incredibly useful. The most-watched explainer segment, aired in late November, features the Prime Minister discussing a recent visit to Peppa Pig World while addressing CBI delegates.
