Peter worked wonders on Twitter, somehow generating upwards of 40 million views with a short video that revealed extreme governmental hypocrisy. That he had to do this – since the national broadcast media wouldn’t – shows both the power of impassioned online campaigning and the need for such influential voices. Peter toiled against the odds to present crucial information – information that should be in the public domain – to massive numbers of viewers.

Max Barrett (judge)

Earlier this year, judge Mr Justice Max Barrett was rightly praised for using plain English to help applicants in court. Mr Barrett clearly explained his judgements to make sure his decisions could be easily understood by those affected.
